Description
The Tempest was the famous play written by Shakespeare and inspired by the true story of the founding of Bermuda. In that time, tempest meant powerful storm. And indeed it was a hurricane that took the Sea Venture ship, that was bound for Jamestown in 1609, off course to shipwreck onto the island that became Bermuda.
The Tempest is about being a force of nature. It is the deeply wild and feminine energy of mother earth that creates as well as destroys. I hope every time that you smell this candle, you are reminded of this power within you.
